The Official Weigh-In

I am getting ready to go on vacation in a month, yes one that does not involve racing, and my body is not really ready for it. I am sporting the prototypical farmer’s tan, although it is not as wicked as normal because I have not been autocrossing. I can still bring down a low-flying plane if I take my shirt off, however. But, that is not so much what I am referring to. I am instead referring to the flabtacular region that is known as my midriff.

Age Is Just A Number

It is Sunday July 20th, 2008. And I am admittedly feeling melancholy. Today would have been the 80th birthday for my dad. I can’t believe I am not celebrating it with him. I also can’t believe he has been gone for over 8 months now.

Little Creatures

This weekend was a diverse one. It started out by being informed that my niece had a bouncing baby boy. I am now officially a great uncle. I then got to the Tigers game Friday night and followed it up with some mini-golf on Saturday. Sunday was spent taking a car that ran perfectly well beforehand and managing to make it develop a lovely miss.
